Meeting Minutes: 12 August 2019

The Brattleboro Camera Club met at VCP on August 12th.

SEEING THE COMMUNITY

SeeCommunity

The meeting began with Joshua Farr, executive director of VCP, giving a talk on the present exhibition at the gallery.  Josh discussed the timeline of the project as well as the overall process of selection and presentation of the prints.

Kathy Carr guided us through the seven portraits she has in the show.  These large-format color portraits of Brattleboro residents are excellent examples of how technical skills plus physical setting contribute to a strong "story telling" portrait.

The next meeting of the club will be on Monday, September 9th  The theme of the month is "Branching Out".
